Day 1 of our Rome holiday - Trastevere.
The basilica is blessed with Intricate designs and beautiful paintings all around.
Two examples are:
The left picture showing the domed ceiling of one of the side chapels of the basilica.
The left picture showing the ceiling of the nave.
The dome was quite well lit by natural light but the ceiling of the nave was in almost complete darkness.
