From our fourth day in Rome. A visit to the Colosseo is a must see when in Rome.
I have never been inside the Colosseo and didn’t go in even this time – not that I didn’t want to but because it was a bit late in the afternoon and Christine and the others didn’t show much interest to go in. Still a picture on 365 is a must.
Thank you very much for your views, comments and fav's.
Oh big memories! Magnificent exterior and next time go inside, it is so interesting. Love the pedestrians in this, they really show off the scale of this wonderful ancient building.
Inside is very interesting - you got to go next time - ps -I bought the guided tour ticket from the colloseum ticket box (not freelance scalpers) and it saved me a big line up to get inside :)
Great shot- this is truly an amazing building. I would have said, "I'll catch up with you later!" You are very respectful of your family in that way and it is to be admired. I like the way you've processed this. It's very fitting for this historical piece of architecture.
Well you got the best shot...it looks wonderful in black & white.
To be honest I was a bit disappointed at the inside of the Colloseum, it was quite commercialised I thought, loads of people & it just looked a bit modern in places where they had adapted for the hordes of people tramping round. You have captured the magnificence.
A great shot of this impressing historical building. A pitty you was n`t able to go inside. Fav. @sangwann Thanks but : Not necassary . No much traffic on the road and there is a clear . , distance to it. My pollicy is : do it save or do n`t do it.
