Two more lizard shots.
Posting later than usual today. This morning Christine and I went out for our walk. Our route takes us through the street where my son, Jean-Pierre, lives. As we walked his house we saw him returning home after walking Robbie, his pit bull mix dog. Robbie is a very cheerful and lovable dog and immediately he saw us he got excited. First he jumped up to greet me - I always move a step or two back because he is a very strong dog. After that, he lunged at Christine pulling JP almost over in the process. Christine does not like dogs because she had an incident with a dog when she was a girl but she does loke Robbie though she doesn't wan't him too close to her. When Robbie jumped up to her she made moved back hurriedly fell to the ground and hit her head on the pavement curb. I was terrified but When JP pulled back Robbie and I helped her up she complained of pain in her wrist. So we convinced her that we had to take her to the polyclinic to have it checked. JP is a medical doctor specialising in Psychiatry and immediately new there was something wrong. Any way, to cut a long story short, she was referred to the hospital and it was confirmed that she had broken a bone and it was put in plaster. Christine signed papers that she wants to leave hospital and tomorrow JP will be contacted by the orthopedics consultant to tell him whether it is better for the arm to be operated upon or not. Fingers crossed she will not need this.
Sorry I have no time to comment on your pictures at the moment.
What a horrific experience Christine had, so sorry to read this. Crossing fingers and hope that she will be sorted out asap. Wishing Christine all the best and a speedy recovery. Beautiful shots btw.
So sorry to hear of Christine's accident ,Such a shame your morning walk was cut short in this way It was good you insisted she had the wrist checked - so many small bones in the wrist and I hope they will knit back together without having to operate - Wish Christine all best wishes from me .Great diptych of the lizard enjoying the apple core !.
Oh poor Christine, I do heartily wish her well as soon as possible. What a shock. Please do send her lots and lots of love from my corner of England today x
Poor Christine, I can empathise with the pain. I broke my wrist about 12 or so years ago & had to have metal work put in. Took about 12-16 weeks to get back to normal, as good as new now, almost full range of movement. Hope she can avoid surgery.
The lizard has got quite a lot to eat here.
