MALTESE GULLS by sangwann

MALTESE GULLS

Some bird lover in Malta wrote that these are Maltese gull. They was searching for food at the Salini Salt Pans. How this species came to be called Maltese I don’t know, perhaps because they know how to speak Maltese. Joking apart, it could be because they are smaller than the gulls you find in countries further north to our islands.
Thank you so much for your views, comments and fav's.
Lovely shots and presentation. They certainly look very different to our gulls.
