I tried taking a couple of shots away from the shelter of the watersport clubhouse and this is what I got. Shot taken at Exiles in Sliema. There and then I decided it was not worth the trouble to continue waiting or looking for more opportunities. My umbrella was broken with the wind, my camera was wet with the sea spray as was my head. And I spent at least 15-20 minutes wiping the camera dry.

Wow it really shows just how wild the weather is. Hope you have dried out now and your camera survives the soaking too. You can always buy another umbrella but a new camera would be more expensive.
