NAPLES – DAY 7 – FINAL LAP.

Below the ramparts of Fort St Elmo we saw a chapel that we didn’t know of – you can see it in my last Naples post. So on our way out of the fort, and since we had lots of time on our hand, we decided to walk down to have a look around. And, I tell you, it was a stunning experience of great beauty.
This is the main altar of the church which we later learned to be a part of the Certosa e Museo di San Martino (Carthusian monastery and museum of St Martin). More to come in the next few days.
