All of a sudden these gorgeous blue flowers have appeared in my garden. Not sure what they are but there are lots of buds so looks like I can enjoy them for a while!
The leaves look like anemones ... a wonderful clump. Look like a double variety in a most attractive shade ... usually stronger colours so I could be wrong about the identification ...
I'm not sure what they are- they don't look like the anemones in my book, but they could be a hybrid and that's why I can't find them. At any rate, they are quite beautiful with the two-tones. Such a pretty picture- it looks like a fairy jungle.

Thank you all - so nice to share what is beautiful, lovely, joy giving.
A quote on my kitchen pinboard says " We have nothing that we have not received!" ..............that makes sharing so easy!
Had some friends visiting last night- Susie work at the gardens at Fyvie Castle (NTS) and both she and Pat - a keen gardener- agreed that these flowers are a variety of wild geranium! They hadn't seen any like them before so I guess I am quite lucky to have them! http://www.nts.org.uk/Property/Fyvie-Castle/
