With some friends we went to Hoy for a day. The island has no public transport but two days a week a tour is organised. Colin, our bus driver, was fantastic and though only moved to Hoy 8 years ago has a real understanding and involvement in his community. He is a member of the Lifeboat Crew and shared his love of the place and his personal knowledge of it's history with passion!
