Missed you all! Creating some postcards to catch up!
Had a lovely holiday on Orkney. Interesting neighbours and perfect place to feel 'at home' at the end of each day.
@happypat Yes Pat this is where we stayed. The older part is now the sitting room with lovely stonework and stove for heating and the new part has the kitchen and bedrooms with very comfortable modern fittings - all much appreciated especially on the chilly days!

have lots more photos of the cows! .......some day when not inspired...! @jmj it was a wonderful place to stay. Looking out the same windows the view was different each evening and there was still light in the sky at midnight....just a little but you could see it with no streetlights around!
And having a peat fire to snuggle up with was brilliant! Weather didn't stop us doing stuff and some sunny days ......vests don't show in photos!
