Simply Stromness

Stromness is where our ferry crossing ended and it was lovely to re-explore the fascinating little alleyways and streets. Even learner drivers happily drive down the 'main street' which looks like it should just be for pedestrians in places! The curious angles and 'narrowings' are amazing and you could probably spend a whole week just taking photos here. Wonderful craft studios and workshops and fantastic knitted lovelies!
Wonderful collage! Looks like a charming village.

Thank you all! Nice to have time to revisit our holiday pics! It is a fascinating little town and had some tall ships visiting just before we got there......two still in harbour when we arrived but weather caused some sailing problems! It looks like there were no people anywhere but it was quite busy with locals and visitors!

I would totally get "lost" in wandering around and looking at all the sites. In a funny way, it reminds me of Mykonos in the Greek Isles- same little streets, narrow roads, quaint and well-kept shops and homes, cobblestones and pavers on the streets, plants, crafts, but Mykonos was just a little sunnier! All of your travel collages have been great- like pages out of a travel guide. Good job!!

I like your collage arrangement. Which programme did you use?

Hi I use Picasa for my collages......sometimes framed in picnik...and don't really think I have explored all the possibilities yet!
