The field next to our house is officially 'the glebe' - that bit of land that was used to support the minister of the local church.
It is only used in a big way in June when people coming to Meldrum Sports get to park their cars in it! (There has been one occasion when it was so soggy that they had to be towed out!!!)
And sometimes when the grass has grown again one of the local farmers puts his sheep in to graze.
I think what I like most is that when I look at our garden with that field in the background the garden looks very civilised and cared for!
When my lovely neighbours on the other side have been working on their garden I can feel ours looks very much in need of some TLC!
I guess that's life and how we feel can so often depend on our perspectives in relation to others. What we need is to accept we are who we are.........WAF!..........and just enjoy and be grateful for all we have!
