the salmon above the flood

Inverurie sculpture sometimes catches the eye! I love the lines of it and had never noticed the story on the pavement plaque until yesterday!
It's a nice little town and where we catch the train north or south!

I love the history with this- and the natural "traffic light". What a great idea to use the salmon to let people know whether it was safe to cross. Nice collage.
