On our last morning, staying with Wim and Baukje, we had a wonderful, leisurely breakfast and then sat outside in the sunshine and lovely garden, looking at photos of earlier times together and chatting about family, holidays and lots more!
Baukje has a wonderful collection of owls and you may be able to spot one in behind the lovely pink flowers.
And, without noticing at the time I took the photo, I have also captured Baukje and Allan sharing a lovely story book for her grandchildren, written in Frisian which is Baukje's first language!
