One of the lovely National Trust for Scotland properties not far from us is Leith Hall. We've had some very memorable outings there when the children were young and used to enjoy the house tour as well as the walks in the gardens and woodland area. The railway line to Inverness passes by the edge of the woodland and there are a couple of little bridges where we used to sit and watch for the train.....and the driver would wave!
We'd done a lot in the house after our trip to Kiev so decided to have a wee outing! The garden is looking gorgeous and there has been a lot of really hard work going on which I've been following on Facebook - so it was great to see it and smell it for real!
Enjoyed making my collage again.....haven't done one for a while!

Thank you - we are really fortunate to have so many historic properties in the care of the National Trust for Scotland in our area. Makes our membership really good value as there is always somewhere to visit whatever the weather and with family and friends or on our own!
The work put in by the gardening teams is awesome!
