Loving the soft colours in the family space now. And Allan brought some flowers when he'd been to the shops today and had chosen the colours perfectly! Some little anemones from the garden finish it off nicely!
Three good things
1. Catch up time since we returned from Kiev
2. Finished painting the family space and the new carpet comes on Monday
3. Grass cut and lots of tidying up done in a fresh breeze this afternoon. Such a good feeling and great smells of new growth, flowers and cut grass. And one of these days I will let you see how amazing our Camellia is this year!!

@happypat Yes Pat - the walls had a strong yellow and blue paper and the furniture was also yellow and blue. The old sofa was replaced with blue (above ) a few years ago (much to the disgust of the B Team as they said the other one was the best sofa in town!!!) and I bought a new chair for Allan's big birthday earlier in the year. The walls have been papered with textured paper and now have plain soft colours - blueberry white and very soft green- so with the new curtains it is all very calming and gentle! I managed to use the left over curtain fabric to revamp the cushions making the most of the blue border (see photo) and all in all I'm feeling pretty good about my work!! New carpet arriving on Monday!!
