One of my lovely housegroup friends has a big birthday on Monday so this afternoon we had an Afternoon Tea for her at our house. It was just lovely from start to finish. She hasn't been very well recently and we've missed her on Thursdays so it was very special being together.
Three good things
1. Fun preparing all the table decoration and getting out the lovely china that doesn't really get used very often.
2. Sunshine and great light....everyone seems to be loving it.
3. Leftovers so no cooking....
blueberries, walnuts, nibbles and scones. 😊😊
How lovely of you to arrange such a special afternoon for your friend, it would be truly a day to remember. You have everything set out beautifully, she will have known how much care you took.
