From yesterday's lovely afternoon.....I saw most of the 'girls' at church today and they were all still smiling after our lovely celebration of a 'new 80 year old'.....
The hamper in the photo at the bottom left is full of little things from each of us -no two the same - and I'm sure she will enjoy opening them all in her own time! We had fun wrapping them on our evening together.
Three good things
1. Another sunny morning
2. Long newsy chats with our girls - on Skype and phone - it would all be so different if we didn't have modern technology.
3. A little drive to Pitmedden Garden for a walk, a coffee and some plants for the garden, and home again....with me driving Allan's car!! It takes a bit of getting used to....but that's progress!!

These little photos were taken before everyone arrived and I wish I could have taken photos of the rest of the food.......little rolled salmon and cream cheese sandwiches, delicious savoury biscuits and cheese, lovely bottles of interesting things to drink, chocolate delights and a wonderful Lemon and White Chocolate Dribble cake from M&S......sheer delight!! And it would also have been nice to have a photo of all of us but the flow would have been interrupted and it's all a lovely memory in my head when I look at the collage!!
