I got some new reading glasses last week. They're different! And I must say they make a difference to the focus when I read. I guess I'm fortunate to have managed without them until now....I only really used my other ones when working at the computer for a length of time.
But watching TV and having a book or magazine is not ideal now!!!!
Three good things
1. A gentle day.....late breakfast, drove Susannah to get her train a few stations up the line as there was a bus replacement due to work going on!
2. A bit of tidying up and then snuggling in a cosy corner to relax and read.
3. Visit to a lovely furniture store with sale on.....last year we bought a chair....this year it may be possible to have another to match!
Doing what I love to do, sitting down reading a book & my word the weather was book reading time! I am having my eyes tested on Friday, I feel I have to blink to focus properly so it's parehaps time for me too! You have done well to last so long. Really nice photo of you & I hope you get your chair!
@happypat Thank you Pat. Allan is back at his old job for a year or so.....maybe we can make the most of it. After his health blip 3 years ago we feel rather blessed!!

Many thanks for your lovely comments. I think it's in the genes....my dad only used reading glasses regularly when he was 70+.
