We met lovely friends for breakfast this morning. Everything about it was lovely. She had been on a month long school project to Rwanda in her summer holidays and then they both had a fab holiday in Botswana and Zimbabwe, arriving home the day before school started!!
This lovely pair were part of the gifts they gave us. So amazing to hear the stories and you could tell from her face that the friendships touch her heart....children and adults! So lovely to have special people as friends.
Three good things
1. Another excellent breakfast at The Coffee Apothecary, Pitmedden.
2. North East Open Studios - we just visited one in the Malt Barns at Glengarioch Distillery, down the road.
3. A beautiful little vase and tumble dryer balls which soften the laundry in the dryer. I must try soon.
What fun these are, love the African colours & the they will look lovely in your house. Reminder of friends & friendships with other communities around the world.
