A glorious drive home after dropping Susannah at Edinburgh Airport for her flight back to Amsterdam. The sunlight was lovely, some clouds resulted in a fabulous multiple rainbow at one point. It went through the spectrum and back and curiously there was a hint of another one slightly east of the strongly coloured one. If I'd been driving I would have stopped to capture it!
No problems on the way home and really got the benefit of the new Aberdeen bypass.
Three good things
1. Susannah was back in Amsterdam before we got home!
2. Cooking session for Hogmanay when some friends are coming for dinner.
3. Catch up at our local place with good friends. Nice to get all the news.
