At the end of the afternoon, the light in the sky was so pretty and even though just 10 days since the winter solstice it really felt like the days were already beginning to stretch a little.
We'd had a lovely walk at a nearby estate and unlike the bitter wind of yesterday, everything was really still and very mild.
Today it's daughter Laura's birthday but she's very far away. Having a lovely restful few days with Iain on some special island north of Sydney and though only accessible by boat we were able to send messages and greetings!
The day she arrived was rather special as my sister was on her last night in the labour ward as a trainee midwife and delivered Laura! We have a lovely photo taken by another member of the staff of us all! Quite unique!
Three good things
1. Light ....and stretching days
2. Memories and love across miles and years
3. A gentle day.....and no work to go to in the morning.
@milaniet Thanks for your lovely comments. I just love 365 and can't imagine life without it! Sometimes it's just the way you can share a light moment!
I had just charged the camera and stood on the sofa in our family room!!
On the other side of the world, I'm appreciating slightly less brilliant light at 5am! We do remember our youngsters' birthday - all sorts of experiences!
Thank you for your lovely comments. ๐๐๐
