Aconites - Mum's favourites

We found these in the woods at Pitmedden on Sunday and I had to capture them with the camera. I'm not sure I have ever seen so many in one place. Mum loves when they appear in her garden......promise of Spring. Apparently, we have just been "experiencing a "fool's spring" when warm weather precedes a further cold snap before spring properly gets underway!" Well it has been very pleasant and I will keep all my woolly jumpers very close to hand for the chill coming next!!!
Three good things
1. Gorgeous morning light driving back after dropping Allan's car off for its MOT. I really wanted to stop and take photos as the light over the fields and trees and occasional houses was so beautiful......but couldn't!
It will stay in my head though!
2. Learning experiences.....sometimes tough when we find children don't know nearly as much as we thought....in an observation session! But I know how to go back to basics and work through the gaps so......
3. A lovely tea party after school for two colleagues, one is leaving and the other came along with her 4 week old baby boy! Such a cutie!
What a beautiful ground cover. I’ve never heard of this flower.
