Collegiate Church Of St Duthac by sarah19

Collegiate Church Of St Duthac

After some lovely misty greys and filtered sunlight on the journey north it was dark when I reached Tain. I'd never noticed before but the old church on the brae up to the High Street was all floodlit and looked amazing.
The old church is mostly used for weddings and special celebrations and is surrounded by some amazing gravestones and monuments. It's not a place I visit much but perhaps I should explore the history a bit more.
Three good things
1. Fun maths with 10 year-olds and 7 year-olds.
2. Susannah and her housemate Emma have moved into a new house in Utrecht.
3. Nice to have such a good evening of chat with Mum. Stories I have never heard before.......could write a book!

Gorgeous light, churches look great at night.

Love hearing old stories - history comes to life and it's even more fun when it's someone you know!
