I was looking forward to this visit but nothing had prepared me for my reaction when I saw it!
The scale, the softness of the colours, the superb preparation by our tour guide, ......I was just amazed....15 minutes was so short and I wished my lovely art teacher from a long time ago had been able to share my reaction.
Three good things
1. Our lovely guide, Sylvia
2. Warm days, good company, lovely food, a bit of shopping
3. Cosy bed to rest after lots of walking
I stand in awe of the greats, I loose myself and soak it all in. I was surprised at my reaction to Leonardo de vinci’s work. It’s a blessing of sorts to see such paintings. I can totally relate, I would stare for hours but my husband isn’t so enthusiastic :) although I do have him enjoying art galleries now.
