Just for the record, I took a photo over the Alps on our flight back to Amsterdam. It looked like there was much less snow than there sometimes is at this time of year.
Three good things
1. Travel arrangements worked out well....no hold ups and no complications.
2. Met another Scottish mother and daughter on the train to the airport. They were going to Lake Como......sounds like a lovely trip for the future.
3. Susannah made sure I knew where to go before she headed off for her train back to her house........I'd had a little hiccup on the way out!! Need to get more practice at this travel thing!!
