After a very warm day, 28° and apparently record breaking for the end of August, the gardener kindly gave a much needed drink to the plants around the patio area which we cleared yesterday.
Wondering how soon the new table will be delivered. It's the wrong end of the summer but we have been known to use it in the other seasons!
Three good things
1 Church BBQ in the park after the morning service. Lots of people of all ages joined in.
2. A visit to a colleague of Allan's who needed surgery while on holiday in Switzerland.....not the best but now recovering at home.
3. Barra Berries were delightful treat.😊
4. Record breaking cricket score delighted Allan and even me! Having lived with his love of cricket for 40 years I rather enjoy the best of times!!

A warm and sunny day here too. Enjoyed sitting in the shade of our cherry tree, reading a good book, while hubby watched the Vuelta cycling race on TV.
Allan is a happy gardener, that’s important when watering. Smile. We prefer sitting outside when it’s cooler so I’m sure you will enjoy the table later too.
