What an extraordinary day! I spent the day at a weaving workshop, one to one tuition with a delightful young lady who has outstanding talent and is delightful company.
Once this is washed and sewn it will be a lovely cosy cowl to keep me cosy on chilly days. I feel so inspired by the day!
Three good things
1. Good drive across Aberdeenshire to the lovely venue for the day.
2. Focus......so much concentration and learning.
3. Lovely welcome home.....bubbly and delicious dinner....
Who could ask for more!!!!
What a wonderful day you’ve had and such a lovely creation too. Well done - you’ve your cowl to always remember the day. Woven things are so lovely. @julzmaioro ‘s sister does lots of weaving and spinning.

Thank you for your lovely comments. It was quite a challenge to get into the rhythm of the weaving for the first while but as the afternoon went by I was more confident! And it is really quite a small piece of weaving. I'll share more when it is washed and sewn together!!
