We had a lovely day in Edinburgh today.
The young Mrs Bremner had a meeting this afternoon so Dad and baby Neil met us after lunch and we had an afternoon at the National Museum of Scotland.
On our recent trip up north we became aware of the very ancient stones held at the museum so it was good to visit and identify items from familiar territory.
Awesome collections in this impressive building and on a wet afternoon a perfect place to spend some time, and have a cup of tea!!!
These two items contained Spanish olive oil and Spanish fish sauce in their day!
Three good things
1. Travel by train
2. Delicious lunch at Volvona and Crolla- a rather special Italian family restaurant.
3. A gentle G&T when we got home 😊
