cafe & creativity

Have had a lovely day with a fantastic friend - we've been 'doing stuff together' since 1984 when we both had babies and bumps!
Today we had lunch at our community cafe, a very successful venture that has been running for 5 years in our little town. Everyone is friendly and the food (all prepared locally) is excellent and very good value for money. Lots of local groups are awarded grants from the profits which is an added bonus for us all!
Afterwards we came back to my place and had a felt brooch making session..........still a work in progress!
I still have a smile on my face as it was such a lovely day.
