Well .....I had my hair cut today! I think I like it!
It's very traumatic having to think about how I want it done as my previous hairdresser just knew me so well!
I had some highlights done too....3 different colours. Could you guess? And it took a VERY long time though some of that was just listening to chat between stages! Oh dear.......I'm not very good at hair salon chat, but I did talk about you all so felt I had to share this!
Suits you Sallie & I like the different shades especially the pale blonde at the front , highlights your face well !! A new hairdresser that must have been a worry but sometimes it's good to have a change & many a time you have the same one & don't like to ask for a different stylist !

Hey, nice cut and lovely shot. Thanks for sharing! I know exactly how you feel having recently had the 'trauma' of having to go to a new hairdresser for the first time in 12 years. Mel has gone on maty leave - even hairdressers are allowed to have babies you know - and it felt very strange stepping out into the unknown of salon selection again. I don't think my brief was very good for the new girl as I'm so used to sitting down in front of Mel and her knowing exactly what to do, my likes and dislikes. Maybe it'll be better next time!
I think it looks great! I'm way overdue for a haircut too, but keep putting it off because I just don't know what I want done. The top is thinning terribly and it's probably time to go shorter too. Oh my! I know this is my vanity point! Hard to confess that! Yours looks very nice and the framing and color around your shot brings out your beautiful blue eyes!
@heatherwatters Oh I understand! Sometimes magazines help - they did today though I'll never have the 'airbrushed face look'! Sadly my hairdresser died in February and we'd known each other for over 20 years so will always be grateful for the way she made me feel. New girl is very nice tho!
I really like your short style! I've been trying various hairdressers in the past couple of years and think I've found one I'm happy with but she doesn't cut it quite short enough.
