The rectory by sarah19

The rectory

Along the road I passed the rectory gate and loved the way the sunlight and shadows played!
The rector retired some years ago and the house has been refurbished...ongoing?...but would be nice if someone new moved in and added life to this lovely place!
Today is very wet again so won't be out with my camera much!
Nice view through the gate. We had rain here over the weekend, though yesterday it was quite nice

Lovely framing!

Lovely pic. I like the framing a lot - as you say, it seems such a shame for a beautiful property like this to languish.

Thank you all
The rectory isn't for sale.....hope things work out soon. The last rector had been here for over 40 years!! and had no children so it's a long time since it was used as a family place - lovely garden space and so much potential.
And I'm really enjoying the mirror frames on ipiccy!! So glad you like them too!

@busylady Yes - a lovely gentleman takes care of everything to do with the Rectory and the gardens at both the house and the church across the road! And always smiling and friendly when you meet him!
His wife has the same impact at the church and at her work at the local Academy, making extra cups of tea and going above and beyond because she just likes people! Treasure folk!
