After working in the garden in the morning we headed for the coast and stopped off in Crovie (top 3) and Pennan (it's claim to fame is the movie 'Local Hero').
Crovie now has a road for residents at one end of the village but was only accessible by boat or foot until quite recently! The houses are mostly end on to the sea, with shutters over windows for stormy days!
Pennan is one of our favourite places - never the same twice. Today it was quite busy but we had booked a table for tea before leaving home and really enjoyed our meal at the Inn.
Lots of walking and fresh air should mean a good night's sleep!
@cdonohoue Thanks Cathy - we're very fortunate to have a wealth of interesting places to visit within 40 miles in any direction! @busylady Thanks - I started off just framing the ones I thought were special but there were too many to choose from! @olivetreeann There's another village along the coast that I used photos of before http://365project.org/sarah19/moving-on/2012-01-24 @lornareid we started off walking at Duff House inspired by your recent photos! :) @anazad511@digitalrn@heatherwatters
Thanks everyone! Too many lovely photos to choose from so used Picasa to share them all!
