the things we often don't notice

One day this week I looked at this clock and barometer in our house differently. So often we just see the time or the weather or don't even notice that!
But these are special items - part of our history.
Allan and I spent part of our honeymoon in Wales ...in 1979! And in the little town (Tregaron ) was a beautiful shop where the clock was made. Even though we had almost no money we bought it!
It has come a long way and is still going strong...gains a bit of time each week but easily reset!
We went back to Wales around 1998 and took the 'B Team' to visit that area for a bit, had lunch in the little hotel and across the road was the lovely shop - slightly different but still producing lovely crafts...and we bought the barometer. It has seen some storms and some fair days too.
So today I'm sharing them and enjoying the passing of time on a fair day!
They are both very nice pieces, I love the wood work on the clock

@digitalrn Thank you Rick - they are both made of leather actually and much similar in tone than the photos would suggest....just very different light in the two spaces!
