old post office tea room

Saturday wasn't a great walking day.....but we went for a drive and checked out the Old Post Office Tea Room at Chapel of Garioch.
It was so good to do! Delicious soup/bread/oatcakes/carrot cake/ hot chocolate.....and so many interesting things to look at while waiting/eating! Must go back soon!
And couldn't resist the stamp border given the venue!

@happypat Yes the post van really does stop....not for a cup of tea but there is a letter box close by for mail to be picked up.....and also an old style red telephone box just by the garden! For next time!
