This morning I transferred the photos I took with my camera when we went to the Deeside Railway yesterday. The photo I took yesterday was on my phone!
I loved the lines in this one........track lines but so many others too.
For us this was a very special outing as we realised that the station building had originally been the one from Oldmeldrum which was taken apart, transported and then caringly restored and reassembled. It's now in a superb state with a lovely waiting room - complete with fantastic fire!! and very nice toilet! Perfect for the chilly days like yesterday and today!
Three good things
1. David, Jenn and Connor had to go to Inverurie and Allan and I got a great hoover/tidy/cleaning session nearly completed before they returned! Don't want to have to do everything after school on Monday!!
2. They brought Jonathan back with them! He'd gone by train to meet them for lunch. :)
3. Connor stayed here this evening while Mum and Dad went to meet friends in town. He is so easy going and was very happy playing with us and going to bed quite content at the end of his day!
Connor must feel very at home with you & Allan, lovely for mum & dad to go out visiting. It would be nice to have him to yourselves! Really like this low down shot of a lovely station,
