So.... the tulips that were half price last weekend have opened rather nicely!
What you can't see is that they are 'stuffed' into the vase with some of the 'folded' leaves holding them in place! One morning I came downstairs to find them almost upside down!!!
Three good things
1. In spite of very windy weather last night we seem to have got off very lightly right here!
2. My sister has been staying with Mum and Dad for a couple of days......and was there to keep them calm and cook tea on the fire!!! when they had no power this evening.....now back to 'normal' and very relieved!!
3. Stayed later than I planned at school but nice to come home with a whole week organised. Now for the weekend. ....after a long sleep as I'm still catching up on David & Co's early airport trip!!
A wonderful capture -- I love the soft editing and the neat coordinating frame ! Thank you for your follow and I shall follow in return -- Amazing that we both have completed 3 years on 365 and have not come across each others path until now A Happy New Year to you !
Lovely soft colour and like your presentation. Good to find you on here too and looking back a little way at your photos gives me inspiration to keep going. Just finding my way round the site and trying to remember to take my camera at the moment. January birthdays are good just when everything is a little flat....is your birthday January too?
@elmay yes...lots of January birthdays in our family. ..mine on 19th, Allan 29th, Connor on 30th 😀
