I hadn't really appreciated the history of this beautiful building until I looked it up! It was gleaming in the sunlight and we went inside a little but I didn't have a shawl / scarf so didn't think I'd be welcome as almost all the other women had their heads covered. Last year when I went with David there was someone actually telling us we (women) needed to have covering for our heads.
The inside is so ornately decorated and the sounds of the bells in the tower was wonderful.
We didn't stay long as Connor was getting tired and hungry!
