Tea time at ANTA by sarah19

Tea time at ANTA

We enjoy stopping off at ANTA's Highland base in Fearn.....beautiful pottery, fabrics and accessories, and a lovely tea-shop area. Allan was browsing their cookery book and found the recipe for the gingerbread that we had with our cups of tea.....so we bought the book! Must try making the gingerbread soon.
Three good things
1. Such a lovely weekend up north
2. Home in good time in spite of the rain
3. Allan back at work today and the sun shining again.....must go and plant some things I was given by a friend last week!
I can see there will be gingerbread on the menu soon! I know Allan loves to cook ....lucky you! You get out to some nice places! We are a bit grounded at the moment!

Poor Allan - typical! I'd love to make gingerbread but I'd be the only one eating it...

Looks like a great place and I like that pottery too. Good to make the gingerbread you have already enjoyed.

Thank you for your lovely comments!
Allan is very happy coming along to quality food / tea shops and is a far more interesting cook than I am! The book was full of ingredients we enjoy so definitely worth having.........how am I going to pass on some of my other ones though!!! Christian Aid week soon and they always have a good selection of books so perhaps I could add to that! So many of mine were gifts (some 36 years old ....wedding presents) and I hate to get rid of them, but they do seem rather dated now!
