We bought this tiny Acer for our wedding anniversary about 16 years ago and this is the best it's been as it has been rather exposed to the north wind at times. But the little beech hedge beside it is doing a great job of sheltering it now that it's filled out and it seems to have survived the chill this year.
Three good things
1. Loved the colours and shapes when I was passing this tonight.
2. Sunshine helps to balance the lowish temperatures!
3. Susannah seems OK after her maths exam.
