After the rain the sun.....and the pansies in Mum and Daďs garden looked very bright and cheerful!
Three good things
1.A good morning. ..lovely singing at church. I do like a good sing!
2. At 88 my mum still spontaneously invites people for lunch afterwards. It is impossible to count the number of people she has fed over the years. ...today it was a lady whose husband died not long ago and we all enjoyed the time together.
3 A good journey home in the train.....lovely couple beside me on first train who were happy to chat and the journey passed so quickly.
4! Allan had bought strawberries and cheesecake for dessert 😊😊
Your mum & dads community sound the answer to a perfectly content life......sometimes I think those that stay put where they have lived all their lives are the longest livers.......they have a wonderful community around them who care about each other!
