Spent ages in the garden today which was lovely especially as I had a friend visiting this afternoon so had a good break! SO much to do in our huge garden and when I'm working full time it doesn't get nearly enough attention! I think I need a hit squad to come and help!!!
Three good things
1. lovely warm day and achieved quite a lot!
2. Found some flowers I know I didn't plant!!! Digitalis.....why would I have them in my garden when grandchild coming to visit.......think I may do some thing radical next week and find a nicer variety!!!! But they are pretty!
3. Tennis to relax to.......glad Andy Murray won! How tall was that opponent of his today. Made him look like a midget!!
I too spent a lot of the day in the garden thr temperature was just right. This is a great shot of your border. The digitalis are popping up everywhere this year not always what you want!

I think it takes time to learn to love the best of a garden and not feel overwhelmed by the 'still to do ' bits! I dug up so many thistles and buttercups year day! !!
@elmay thanks Elsie. ...was a fab day. The digitalis was such a surprise as I haven't seen it around us much and never known it in our garden. It's a lovely delicate colour 😀
