After work we drove up to Nairn for a relaxing weekend that we've looked forward to for ages.
Staying at a favourite hotel, just by the sea with big skies and a great north view. I feel like I belong here and am still a northern girl at heart even if I have lived in the north-east of Scotland for half my life!!
Three good things
1. A good drive - lots of traffic but all moving at a steady pace
2. Relax! as soon as we walk in the door if feels like the therapy begins! Lovely Christmas decorations, friendly staff, very comfortable room and a warm bath before going for dinner.
3. Mmmmm! Wonderful Taster Menu with 6 courses of just the right size portions!!
@happypat Sure was Pat! It's a favourite place and we feel so chilled (in the best possible way) that we go back each year. Just a tonic to have a pamper weekend before the final rush to Christmas!
