Roses waiting for me by sarah19

Roses waiting for me

I love them especially when it's wet and dreary outdoors. Allan bought them along with some groceries on his way home from work. The ones on the sideboard in the hall were rather sad when we went away for the weekend.
Three good things
1 fun activities for Christmas at school this week
2 quiet evening. .....what will I do first?
3 I found a large bag on the doorstep. Dropped off by a friend. ......a pheasant ....
Now will I find out how to deal with feathers and insides online!!!!????
Pheasant is very nice Sallie. When we get them given Harry has found the easiest way is not to pluck but take the skin off & just use the breasts. Lazy way I know but it's the easiest!

@happypat I thought you would know Pat!! And I thought I didn't need to do the feather bit......so I'll check out the easiest way you recommend. I must say I was surprised at my reaction when I opened the bag. Such beautiful creatures.....and there are two of them!!

@sarah19 Well enjoy them....they are usually in a brace as there's not a massive amount on them. That's why we don't bother with the legs, too little to bother!
