I just wanted to record every minute of their short time at home with us - it's so amazing after the big surprise!
I took this photo on my phone in very soft light in the lounge with the hall lights in the background. It was really disappointing at first but I've managed to play with it in iPiccy and I think I like it now!
We'd had the left over pheasant for dinner and afterwards Allan opened the dessert wine we had bought in Australia when we were there 2 years ago. It had been sitting in the fridge waiting for the right occasion. This was SO the right occasion!
Three good things
1. Paracetamol etc - (dreadful cold!!!)
2. Made it to town in the train and enjoyed new Star Wars movie.
3. Jonathan joined us for food and we all had a lovely time before getting the train home.....and I survived!!
This has a perfect Christmas glow....love the soft light & the feeling of well being.
