The Sir Duncan Rice Library

I loved the light patterns as I was leaving the car park at the University Library in Aberdeen this evening. It's a really striking building at any time of day and lovely light place to work if you're a student!
I was just at a meeting which was inspiring! A new campaign group UPSTART Scotland had its first gathering in Aberdeen tonight and with around 250 people there that was quite an impressive beginning!
International evidence shows that children under the age of seven benefit from an educational approach that supports their all-round physical, emotional, social and cognitive development, rather than pushing them towards early academic achievement.
And there was so much positively sensible and evidence based information shared I really was glad I went even if it was a late night
So if you are in Scotland and know parents and teachers who feel 4 or 5 is too young for starting formal schooling do share the link.
