Royal Burgh of Tain Pipe Band

The sound of them playing on the High Street reached the station which is just down the road, so I had good walking music as I made my way.
Nice to see them for a couple of tunes before continuing to Mum and Dad's.
Three good things
1. Light skies after a really big thunderstorm early this morning.
2. Somehow I managed to cram everything I needed to do into my afternoon at school before heading off for my train.....elastic minutes.
3. Reassuring words in message from Archbishop of Canterbury on Facebook following the referendum. We were very sad (and a little surprised ) at the result particularly after feeling so pleased when Scotland had voted not to leave the UK not so long ago.......but life goes on and we live in an amazing international world. Hoping it doesn't impact negatively on Allan's job search!
I bet that sounded great, filling the air with sweet music

Great welcome when you got off the train to hear the sound of the pipes. Sorry Alan is affected by the cut backs and hope he finds a job soon. So many people we know affected.

You can't beat the skirl of the pipes! Especially in the open air! Still reeling a bit over yesterday's results ... and all the implications for Scotland. The A. of C. is always so wise and rooted, isn't he.

I like your airmail stamp border - very effective. I agree with you sentiments about the referendum outcome.

Pity there is no sound to go with the pictures! So agree with you on the referendum
