It was a lovely morning and we left Dad and Seanair at home doing things! Jenn, Connor Finnley and I headed for Newburgh beach where a whale had been seen feeding just offshore earlier this week.
We only saw seals and whale hunters today but had a lot of fun. And we had lots of fun in the sand....Finnley didn't mind the texture though it was his first experience of sand and got the idea of picture making!!! Grandma had been here first!!
Three good things
1. Sunshine at times and fun time at the beach.
2. The painting is finished and looking great!
3. I managed to use my sewing machine to add dark 'lining' - from a spare navy blue duvet cover! - so the curtains are now much more effective for little summer visitors who need to sleep later in the Scottish mornings!
