dunes sand sea and a splash of new colour

The new beach huts at Findhorn caused a bit of a stir as the unspoiled nature of the long stretch of coast is such a special feature of this part of Scotland. And I can see why!
But the colours aren't too wild or garish and seemed to work with the natural colours around - sand and skies and pebbles.
Three good things
1. Photos from the weekend.....remind me to keep work in its place!
2. Sunshine again and lovely for children to be outdoors at school
3. Ice cream date with Allan after school at Barra Berries .....was so good - won't be there too much longer when the berry season finishes.
Findhorn, now that name sounds very familiar! I spent some of my very early childhood on that beach. I agree the colours are a soft & natural & in perfect keeping.

I think the beach huts add a certain 'je ne sais' quoi' to the scene! Must go and check them out.

@happypat I did think about you at the weekend Pat......passing RAF Kinloss as it was.....now an army base as the Nimrod aircraft no longer fly. @mittens @jmj Thank you for your comments. I think they are quite gentle where they are and there were some positive points about their contribution to the local economy. They cost £25,000 each!!!!
