Allan was in Skye this weekend to collect his mum who had been visiting Auntie Mary for a week. And in a collection of old photos he found in an envelope were these two 'Christmas Cards' which had been sent when he was two or three......Neddy in the picture on the left had been given to him by Auntie Mary and he still remembers the day that his mum had dumped him!!! He was very sad!!
But lovely to have these and Auntie Mary (91 years young) was very happy for him to take them home!
Three good things
1. Being home again
2. Got to my train on time in spite of bus 25X being 45 minutes late......but the one a little while later X99 got me to Inverness with no stops on the way!!!
3. Loved seeing these photos. I think the children and grandchildren will enjoy seeing them too!!
Allan still has that lovely smile in the photos you take of him nowadays! Let's have a comparison - then and now in one collage!! (Same pose of course!)
