Had a lovely walk this afternoon and wandered via old memory parts of town. The gate was open at the top of the garden where the current residents drive their car in so I wandered in just to have a peek. I can't tell you how many memories there are associated with this garden and house from my young days. Granny moved to a little bungalow after Grandpa died when I was 14.......not just the other year!.......and I've never been as close as this before!!!
Three good things
1. Lovely lunch shared with a fantastic neighbour after church. Great company and everyone enjoyed it!
2. Nostalgic walk in sunshine and just home before the rain started.
3. After some frustrating weeks when Allan could only get my voicemail when he called me I've discovered he was in my 'reject call' list π―! However that happened I don't know but now sortedπππ!

There is a lovely slope down the garden and then some steps as you get close to the house. It meant the flowerbed was at waist height and so easily accessible from the paved area was great when my grandmother was getting older and when she moved to her new house the back garden was planned in the same way! A very good idea!
